In addition to more than 10 years
experience in fitness training and coaching, Miche Hoffer brings
to his clients the knowledge and discipline of a world class athlete.
Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, Miche has been a member of
the Swedish National Track Team since he was 16 years old. He is
a champion decathlete, and is ranked among the top three in Sweden.
Miche is passionate about helping his clients achieve their fitness and/or athletic goals. His enthusiasm, expertise and engaging personality have
created a following of fitness-seekers and athletes at all levels of experience.
Miche began working as personal trainer while studying at the University
of Houston. He moved to California in 2000, and has worked as a personal
trainer at fitness clubs in the peninsula area. He has also coached track and field at Los Gatos High School and Stanford University. In 2002, he
and his fitness (and life) partner, Rowe, founded MichRoFit as a vehicle
to spread their philosophy that fitness should not be just a part of life,
it should be a WAY OF LIFE.
Miche is a certified personal trainer and strength coach (including all “Olympic
lifts”). Additionally, he holds several continuing education certifications
in performance nutrition, supplements, body composition and training plateaus.
Unlike Miche,
Rowe Hoffer was a fitness late bloomer. Born and raised in the
Philippines, where women are not encouraged
to be athletic, Rowe didn´t discover her passion and natural
ability for competitive sports until her 20s. And quite a passion
it was. For a period of about 10 years or so she played competitively
at indoor volleyball, beach volleyball and tennis. She was also
actively involved in kickboxing for about 4 years, and started
an after-work kickboxing/fitness program to help her desk-jockey
colleagues get into shape.
As a certified personal trainer and
fitness instructor, Rowe brings to MichRoFit a special affinity
for late bloomers and
weekend warriors - individuals with busy weeks who like to
play sports, ride bikes or power hike on the weekends. She says
that to avoid injury and perform at their best, late bloomers
and weekend warriors alike need to make time for exercise and
conditioning during the week.
And she practices what she preaches!
With a fulltime corporate job, Rowe still manages to work with
her fitness clients and
stick to her own workout routine.
She will help you find fun and convenient ways to integrate
exercise into your busy life so that fitness isn´t just a part
of life, but a WAY OF LIFE.
